Once again I want to bring to you a piece of our history. American history which is from right here in the Garden State. A way for us to get a better look into the deep roots of the American story that we have been part of right here in New Jersey.
So let's snap a picture in your mind, a picture of the Garden State circa 1956. I came across this fantastic vintage promotional movie for New Jersey and I wanted to share this trip down memory lane with you.
New Jersey's oldest AND smallest elementary school opened its door for their final school year. The school opened in 1832, and the building (built in 1872) housed no more than 50 students. And, I'm not crying - you're crying.
