As South Jerseyans, we take care of our own, and we could certainly use your help today.

SoJO 104.9 and our fellow Townsquare Media South Jersey radio stations are holding a Feed South Jersey Radiothon today.

This past year was unprecedented, leaving many so many South Jersey families struggling, especially with food insecurity. The community, maybe your own friends and neighbors, needs your help.

Hunger is a very real problem right now. An ongoing one, even though we've come around to the one year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic reaching the Garden State. Thousands of our neighbors right here in South Jersey are living with food insecurity. In fact, according to Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch, 1 in 5 kids in the state are hungry, 1 in 4 in Cape May County. That's a heartbreaking reality.

And the Food Bank's resources are stretched thin with more and more families seeking assistance.

So, today, with your help we're on a mission to support Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch to raise money and provide as many meals as possible for our friends and neighbors in need in Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland Counties.

With the help of the Food Bank, we're able to provide 75 meals for every $25 donation raised today. But ANYTHING you can give will greatly appreciated. ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF NJ.

You can donate right now safely and securely through this link.

If you or your family is in need of food, you can get help though the Community Food Bank.

A big thanks to Matt Blatt dealerships for their help during this event.

The Food Bank, Townsquare Media South Jersey, and Matt Blatt thank you.
