South Jersey Man’s Stolen Wallet Returned to Him 60 YEARS Later
This South Jersey man's wallet was returned to him 60 years later. I know the question on all your minds, is the money still there?
I have no idea, but 6abc News reports Dennis Helmer of Westmont got his wallet back after his house was burglarized in 1957.
A nice couple from Bellmawr discovered the wallet while tearing down the wall of their house, and gave Dennis a call. When Dennis heard the descriptions of the photos inside, he knew the wallet belonged to him:
What are the chances, right? Whenever something is lost for over 2 weeks, I know I'll never see it again. Now I suppose all I have to do is wait 60 years, and see what happens.
What's something you lost then found, that you thought was gone forever?
