South Jersey Health Aides Accused of Abusing a Disabled Man
Two health care aides at Bancroft Neurohealth in Mt. Laurel stand accused of physically abusing a man in their care.
In June of 2018, 24-year old Kendall Crouch and 25-year old Martha Ruiz reportedly health a towel soaked in urine over the face of the disabled patient.
According to Patch.com via New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, the two women also hit the face of that same patient, twisted his hand and wrist, and restrained him to his bed against his will.
Ruiz and Crouch have been charged with third-degree conspiracy, third-degree neglect of a disabled person and fourth-degree endangering another person.
Apparently, this is just one of three abuse incidents coming out of Bancroft in the last month.
