Second Victim Identified in Boston Marathon Explosions
Medford, Massachusetts native Krystal Campbell is the second of three casualties to be identified following the tragic blasts at Monday's Boston Marathon.
The father of Krystal Campbell, who was a 2001 graduate of Medford, Mass. High School spoke to Yahoo!News about his daughter:
“My daughter was the most lovable girl. She helped everybody and I’m just so shocked right now. We’re just devastated. She was a wonderful, wonderful girl. Always willing to lend a hand.”
Eight-year-old Martin Richard, of Dorchester, there to watch his dad Bill Richard compete in the marathon, was also killed along near the finish line, his mother sustaining a brain injury and 6-year old sister requiring a leg amputation.
More than 170 were injured when two bombs exploded just off Boyleston Street. A third victim has yet to be identified. The FBI has taken over the investigation which is now being labeled a terrorist attack.
