Sea Isle City, NJ Cops: Man Offered to Buy Alcohol for Girl in Exchange for Sex
A Burlington County man is facing charges after allegedly offering to buy alcohol in exchange for sexual favors from a young woman.
28-year-old Sayal Sawaged of Mt. Holly was arrested and charged with second-degree luring, enticing child by various means; third-degree endangering the welfare of children; and simple assault. He is being held in the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and officials with the Sea Isle City Police Department say Sawaged, "offering to buy alcohol for juvenile females in exchange for sexual favors. Sawaged also allegedly attempted to lure the victim into his vehicle and back to his residence. The victim was able to pull herself away from Sawaged and notified nearby officers."
Sawaged was arrested shortly after the incident.
