Hasbro has announced that 'Monopoly Ultimate Banking' will not have its signature pastel colored cash. Instead, it will have...credit cards.

The new game to be released later this year, will have a credit card instead of cash! So players will have to scan as a way of spending and getting money. I mean, NBC Philadelphia does make a point that now we don't have to worry about actual math. Which is perfect because I suck at math.

But still, it's so much more fun to see those colorful stacks of money to totally rub in your friends faces when you're winning.

Apparently, the change is so that the game can attract younger people. But I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks credit cards ruin the fun.

Also, I just learned today that Monopoly is based off of Atlantic City. How did I not even know this?? And just celebrated its 80th anniversary just last year!

Personally, I think Hasbro should keep it's classic look. We've loved the game for 80 years now why go changing it?

What do you think? Are you going to be buying 'Monopoly Ultimate Banking'? Or are you going to keep it classic?
