New Jersey State Police are asking for help finding a man known in the boxing world, who remains a fugitive nine months after being charged with DUI and vehicular homicide in Salem County.

On September 28, 2019, Robert Gunn Jr., 47, of Hackensack, was allegedly driving under the influence during a crash on Rt. 635 in Upper Pittsgrove Township
that killed one person and seriously injured another.

Police determined that Gunn entered the oncoming lanes in his Dodge Ram 3500 and collided head-on with a Hyundai Elantra occupied by Polly and Robert Tornari. Polly was pronounced dead at the scene, and her husband was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Gunn was last seen on February 10, in Maricopa County, AZ.

According to the Hackensack Daily Voice, Gunn was known as “the Celtic Warrior" during his career as a bare-knuckle fighter in the 1980's and 90's, and was the first living inductee into the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame.
