Police Investigate Overnight Shooting in South Jersey, Man Injured
Police are still investigating a shooting that occurred overnight on Monday that left one man injured.
Reports came to police that a shooting occurred in Willingboro, Burlington County, Monday night. Multiple shots were fired.
Officials searched the area and uncovered shell casings and an abandoned vehicle with broken glass. A man has since been admitted into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand. He was also grazed in the chest, according to officials. His injuries are not known to be life-threatening, and will be ok.
The shooting occurred at JFK Way and Hopewell Lane around 8 p.m. Monday night.
So far there is no motive on the shooting or who was involved.
