First Responders Receive Unexpected Thank You in Toms River
This act of kindness will definitely never be forgotten.
On Friday, first responders from Toms River received a surprising thank you from an unlikely place.
The six members of the Toms River Rescue Squad were just minding their own business eating breakfast at a local diner after they were done with their shift when a customer informed them that someone had paid for their meal.
They were informed that the $77 bill was picked up by another customer, much to their shock. The customer also wrote a note on the bill, saying "Thank you for all you do. Have a great day.
The note was signed, from a "recovering addict."
Kindness and helping others do go a long way, and is always noticed.
