Mariner's Cove Motor Inn in Point Pleasant Beach caught fire just before 5:30 this morning, killing three and injuring more. Now an investigation is underway to determine what caused the deadly blaze.

The motel reportedly housed several people still homeless in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Ocean County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Al Della Fave told NBC40.net  that investigators and firefighters are sifting through the charred rubble to determine if any people unaccounted for.
