Victim of Fatal I-295 Accident in West Deptford, NJ Identified
A 38-year-old woman lost her life in an accident on I-295 in W. Deptford last Thursday night.
The crash occurred Thursday, February 1st just before 7 p.m. in the northbound lanes of 295, according to Patch.com.
Cassandra Ashmeade was riding as a passenger in a Chevy pick-up truck that was hit from behind by a Dodge sedan.
The impact sent the pick-up truck careening off the highway where it reportedly overturned. Ashmeade, of Philadelphia, was ejected from the Chevy. She did not survive.
Four other people were injured, including the drivers of both vehicles.
