Pet Birds Stolen from 7 Year-Old Vineland Boy

Police in Vineland are on the hunt for a birdnapper who stole two pet parakeets from a 7 year-old. Now the family is pleading for their safe return.

The birds and their cage were snatched from the back porch of the Estudillo Family's home on East Ave. and Quince St. this past Wednesday night. A witness reportedly told police they saw a shadowy figure crossing through the backyard.

The son who cared for the birds and called them pets is said to be heartbroken and confused, Courier Post reports.

One parakeet is white, the other is blue and white with black spots. Both have red bands on their legs. If you have any information related to the whereabouts of the birds, you're asked to contact Vineland Police.
