One Reported Dead in Early Morning Fire

A local house fire has left one person dead, and a firefighter sent to the hospital.

At around 3:00 this morning, fire broke out in a one-story home in Pleasantville on the 400 block of Doughty Road.

Further details surrounding the victim who died in the fire is still unknown.  According to NBC 40, 'The blaze was extinguished after a little more than fifteen minutes, but most of the home still suffered extensive damage.'

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
