Hey SoJO1049.com readers, sure hope everyone had a great week!  There are such great musical acts coming to the Jersey Shore this weekend and spilling into the week, my mind can't focus on anything else.

Being jammed packed with so many shows, I truly think this week could be the "most musical" week ever! LOL  I usually try to get to every show that comes down the pike, and while this week sure will prove difficult, I plan to try my hardest!  Here is a small sprinkling of  some of the acts you can catch in our area... So charge your camera, grab a friend and try to keep up!

Sheryl Crow
loading...

First let me start off with, Sheryl Crow.  Even though the show was last night at Ceasar's Atlantic City, I definitely had to mention this great talent!  She has been through so much and still rocks out like it's her first show!

You can tell the casino is not her first choice of crowds, as it took a familiar radio hit to get people out of their seats but that didn't seem to slow her down.  If she comes back to town, I recommend getting yourself a ticket!

Now for the shows that you still have a chance to get to. LOL

Chris Rene

On Friday, Big Time Rush with Cody Simpson will perform at the Susquehana Bank Center.  Now I really don't know too much about them except my niece loves them and always watches them on TV... So I'm guessing if you have kids, you're in the know.

Also, a pretty cool insider's event happening at the Atlantic Club Casino Beach Bar this Friday I plan on checking out:  X -Factor finalist Chris Rene will perform a "mini set" of a few songs and meet fans, beginning around 5pm.

Since being on the X-Factor season one, Chris has been signed to Epic Records and is currently supporting his single "Trouble Trouble".

Rascal Flatts
loading...

Sauturday I will be swooping over to the Susquehanna Bank Center on the Camden waterfront to check out my old friends Rascal Flatts.  Country naysayers beware!  This crew rocks!  This will be my fourth Rascal Flatts show, and while I still couldn't tell you every song title, they put on quite a stage show!

Supporting acts this time around include: Little Big Town, Eli Young Band & Edens Edge.  Check out my list below for a full list of shows this Saturday...

Daughtry
loading...

Then on Sunday there are two great shows, and I have to pick which one I will go to...

Daughtry will be at The Borgata and Demi Lovato will be at the Susquehana Bank Center.  Now, I just felt some of you roll your eyes and shake your head thinking that it really shouldn't be a hard decision.... but hear me out.

I have seen Daughtry twice already and think his live shows rock top notch (plus I live so close to Borgata!)

On the other hand, I have never seen Demi Lovato live... Being a huge music fan, this is quite a decision as I want to check out every artist I can.  Demi's show is a re-schedule from the July 6th cancellation. Tickets printed for that show will be honored on August 12th.

Pool Party
loading...

Manic Monday!  I know, I know... it's back to work!  But Monday welcomes The 22nd Annual International DJ Expo back to Atlantic City with a kick off Pool Party at the Pool in Harrah's hosted by Fatman Scoop and fellow radio guy, Bartel from WKTU New York.  The party will feature some the best DJ's in the biz and special guests, including, DJ Riddler, Tommy Sunshine & Disco Fries.

Other Monday night parties include, Pretty Poison (Catch Me I'm Falling) at the Casbah in Trump Taj Mahal and Jermaine Dupri with Lil Jon at Mixx inside Borgata.

Sean Paul
loading...

By Tuesday I will be up to 3 coffees a day, but this is the show my co-worker, Kristen and I wait for all year! LOL

The House of Blues welcomes the Promo Only Summer Sessions Showcase!  Hosted by Clinton Sparks with featured artists this year: Sean Paul (Temperature),  Taylor Dayne (Tell It To My Heart), Breathe Carolina (Blackout), Outasight (Tonight Is The Night), Shannon (Let The Music Play), Kat Graham (Grafitti On Me) & many more!

The show runs from about 8pm till 2am so wear comfortable shoes!

Wednesday I will drag into work then, rest and relax in the evening (LOL).

But if you are still fired up and wanna dance, you can check out World Renown DJ Paul Van Dyk at Mixx inside The Borgata!

Kelly Clarkson
loading...

Thursday, it's back to the tunes!  Kelly Clarkson & The Fray!  Yessssss!  Many of you know I am a big Kelly Clarkson fan... Probably because I did not watch American Idol, so I can appreciate just her as an artist.

I would invite everyone to catch her live if you have the chance.  Her voice is amazing, and isn't that what it's all about anyway??  No auto tune here! LOL

This show is a double headline but let's face it, someone has to go first (open up) and I don't think it will be Kelly!

Kelly Clarkson & The Fray will continue their tour to the Mixtape Festival in Hershey Park , but I will cover that in my next entry as not to get ahead of ourselves...

Well, now you'll know what shows I'll be at this week... Let me know where you will be in the comments box below!  I have compiled a list of all the good tunes that could be in your ears this week to help with your decision... (I even made them links you just click on!) ENJOY! Viva La Musica
