Is flatulence at the center of the lay off of one of New Jersey's top pork roll manufacturer employees?

Louann Clem, who is suing Case Pork Roll Co., claims her husband Rich Clem was fired because of uncontrollable symptoms stemming from gastric bypass surgery, according to The Home News Tribune. Those complications include extreme gas and uncontrollable diarrhea that Case Pork Roll Co. President Thomas Dolan allegedly complained about.

The lawsuit suggests Dolan repeatedly told Rich Clem, whose wife Louann is also an employee at the facility, he 'made the office smell' and pushed him to work from home.

According to Case Pork Roll Co. owner Tom Grieb says neither of The Clem's were fired, but that they simply walked out because they didn't want to face a pay decrease in the wake of declining revenue.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified punitive and compensatory damages.

As someone who suffers from digestive disease, I feel for this guy if he lost his job from something he can't control. Stay tuned.
