A New Jersey woman was among those shot by a gunman inside an Aurora, Colorado theater.

Jacci Fry of Andover, a 2007 Lenape Valley Regional High School graduate, was hit in the leg & face by shrapnel but was not seriously injured according to the Ridgewood-Glen Rock Patch.She was released from surgery on Friday afternoon.

Fry was also trampled in the chaos following the shooting. Her parents are flying to Colorado Fry’s sister Jamie tells the Patch. Her spirits are good and she’s been cracking jokes for the staff. Friends have been leaving messages of support on her Facebook page.

Jacci moved to Colorado several months ago and is a server at a nearby Red Robin restaurant according to NorthJersey.com.
