New Jersey Sales of These 3 Grocery Items Could Go Up if Weed is Legalized
It's not just a stereotype. It's been proven that sales of these three things have increased in states where marijuana has been legalized.
Studies conducted by Georgia State University and University of Connecticut show that chip sales went up 5.3%, ice cream sales went up 3.1%, and cookie sales went up 4.1% in the months following the legalization of recreational weed use in Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, according to NJ.com. The research also claimed that the jump in junk food sales wasn't short term.
So, the munchies are real?
