My app of the week is ... My Fitness Pal! It's the perfect app if you're looking to get in shape this summer!

This is an app I have been using for quite sometime. All throughout college, I maintained a healthy gym lifestyle. But, exercise only counts for 20% of your progress and I was still eating whatever I wanted. Finally, after getting frustrated for not seeing results I acknowledge it was time to do what the bodybuilders do: track my meals.

It's annoying for me to write down every single meal, and calculate every single calorie I ate for the day. That's why My Fitness Pal is the PERFECT app to use! You're able to enter the food you eat, and it calculates the amount of calories according to serving. It also tracks how much you burn through exercise, and has over 2 million nutritional facts.

The only catch is you must be honest with yourself! If you leave out something you ate, it can incorrectly calculate. But it does give you tips and ideas of what to do to stay on track!
