Let the countdown commence (again!): MTV is bringing back Total Request Live nearly 10 years after the show went off the air.

The iconic TRL, which perhaps most famously aired Mariah Carey serving ice cream to unsuspecting audience members in 2001, will return in October and air live from a yet-to-be-constructed studio in Times Square. New VJs will include rapper-comedian DC Young Fly and Chicago radio host Erik Zachary, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and the revival is part of a push by MTV to capitalize on nostalgia.

TRL, which made Carson Daly a household name, debuted in 1998, and included a daily Top 10 countdown of viewer-selected music videos. The show aired more than 2,200 episodes, and Backstreet Boys, Korn and NSYNC routinely dominated the top of the charts across the show's earliest episodes.

The show previously made a one-night comeback in July 2014 for Total Ariana Livewhich served as a launchpad for her single "Break Free."

Additional hosts, which will likely include YouTube personalities, will be announced soon.
