A New Jersey woman pleads guilty to setting her newborn daughter on fire, then leaving her in the middle of the street.

23-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier has plead guilty in Mount Holly to aggravated manslaughter, 6abc reports. Police had responded to a fire in Pemberton Township and found a neighbor holding Dorvilier down while the baby was wrapped in towel and paper.

The newborn baby girl suffered third-degree burns and died two hours later in January 2015. Dorvilier may be facing 30 years in prison, but sentencing won't be until April 22.

Truly horrific and sad story. Our hearts go out to the family and the newborn.
