So, my choices of Mike's Top 9 Songs of the 90s is a little skewed, because for most of the 90s, I was living in one of the alternative rock capitals of the country - Athens, GA - home of R.E.M., the B52's, Drivin' and Cryin', Pylon, and many more.

Athens is an eclectic town with all sorts of musical and cultural influences, so my list is varied. My list has nothing to do with top sales, radio play, video play or anything like that.
