Meet a Local Dog Named SOJO!

Last night was a little hectic. I had a major emergency with my cat, and wound up spending most the night at the vet. So, imagine my luck when I ran into a dog named SOJO!

SOJO is a black and white Shih Tzu from who belongs to The Simpkins Family in Egg Harbor Township. I overheard his owner's talking about him and freaked out when I saw his name tag!

Now, 'SoJO' as it related to our radio station actually stand for 'South Jersey's Own'. I wish I could say the dog was named after us, but here's the story behind SOJO's name:

His owner's wanted to call him Solo, but he just wasn't responding to it. They had a family member named Joe who loved dogs, so they combined the two and SOJO clicked!

We're considering making SOJO our official mascot. Lol. Isn't he the cutest!
