Man Killed in Fall Down Elevator Shaft in Atlantic City

A high rise building on North New York Ave. in Atlantic City became the scene of a fatal accident today, when a man reportedly fell down an elevator shaft.

Atlantic City Police are investigating the fall which took place approximately 10:15 a.m. today, but the victim was a repair man working on the elevator of New York Avenue Apartments at the time of the accident, according to 6abc.com.

Emergency services were called around 10:15 a.m. Friday to a building on the 200 block of North New York Avenue.
