64-Year-Old Man Discovered Shot to Death in Cherry Hill Parking Lot
An early morning shooting on Easter Sunday lead police to find a 64-year-old man dead in the parking lot of a Cherry Hill apartment complex.
This is reportedly the first homicide in the Cherry Hill area since February 2016, according to Courier Post, when a 17-year-old lost his life outside a motel.
A Bear, Delaware man named Leopold McKoy was found with multiple bullet wounds at Sergi Farms Apartments on Abbey Road (off Marlkress Rd.) around 4:30 a.m. Sunday after Cherry Hill police responded to reports of gunfire at the complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, according to 6abc.com. An investigation into the incidents that resulted in the shooting, leaving McKoy dead, is underway.
