Mainland High School In Linwood Closed Due To Threat
A texted gun threat has closed Mainland High School in Linwood.
In a press release, The Linwood Police Department said they were contacted by a student in another school district who received a text that "someone would get a gun and there would be violence." Mainland Regional High School was one of several schools mentioned.
Upon getting the information from police, Mainland Regional School Superintendent Dr. Thomas Baruffi made the decision to close the school for the day.
