Local Woman Dies in Car Crash on Black Horse Pike

An overturned vehicle on the Black Horse Pike left one woman dead yesterday afternoon.

According to police in Hamilton Township, the driver of a 1995 Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on Rt. 322 when the vehicle overturned, crashed into a tree, and trapped the driver inside. 

The victim was medevaced to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and the driver was pronounced dead shortly after. (NBC 40)

The identification of the woman has not been released to the public at this time, and an investigation regarding the cause of the crash is currently underway.  Route 322 was closed in both directions for an hour an a half.
