An accident involving four vehicles, including a tractor trailer, claimed the life of a 69 year old man from Hammonton yesterday....

Galloway Township Detective Sgt. Donna Higbee said Greg Hoover, 23, of Upper Deerfield Township, was traveling west on Route 30 in a tractor-trailer when he “failed to obey the red traffic signal at the intersection” and collided with two vehicles headed south on Pomona Road.

The two cars struck were a Toyota Tundra driven by Gary Brenner, 36, of Galloway, and a Mercedes Benz driven by Robert Bozzuto, 60, and his passenger Sandra Nilan, 71, both of Galloway.

The Tractor Trailer also claimed the life of William Anthony Jr, the driver of a Chevy Cruze that had overturned and became pinned underneath the tractor-trailer.

The driver, who's name has not been announced yet, is a 23-yr old man from Seabrook.   No charges have been filed at this time, and an investigation is still ongoing.
