Noah Dellas represented South Jersey and the rest of the country as he won triathlon gold at the Special Olympic Games in California this past weekend.

The Cape May Court House teen thought he was 'cool and awesome' when he crossed the finish line and was swarmed by different reporters, including people from ESPN.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, 'Dellas completed the half-mile open-water swim, 11-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run in 1 hour, 12 minutes, 59 seconds. Dellas led the race from the start. The runner-up, Marvin Allesander Da Rin Llanes, of Uruguay, crossed the finish line nearly 5 minutes behind Dellas.'

Before he could celebrate, he decided to compete again! He was back in the ocean and trying to qualify for the men’s 1-mile open-water swim! Noah's two year training and dedication certainly payed off.  Congrats Noah!!!
