It is with a heavy heart that we report this tragic story...

Lindsey Sickler, 26, was tragically killed in a car accident Wednesday night.  Lindsey was a Millville speech teacher who was to receive her master’s degree from Stockton this weekend.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, Lindsey was driving westbound on Moss Mill Road in Galloway Township, approaching Harvard Terrace, when she lost control of her vehicle, struck a number of curbs, a stop sign and a treeShe was taken was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with internal injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Sickler was a 2005 graduate of Riverside High School in Burlington County,  and resided in Hammonton.

This is truly devastating news.  Not only are we reporting someone who was tragically gone too soon, but a woman who impacted so many young lives in such a short time.  Rieck Avenue Elementary School will certainly miss her.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are going to the family, friends, and colleges of Lindsey Sickler today.
