Local Police Searching Frozen Bay for Missing Man

Family and friends of a 21-year old man are concerned for his well being after he disappeared from a recent party.  Now police in Ventnor say their search for the missing man has lead them to a nearby frozen bay.

Kennedy Rios was last seen by friends leaving a party wearing only a flannel shirt and jeans, and no coat, NBC40.net reports.

He also left behind his cell phone.  When he did not return Wednesday authorities were notified.

A police K9 dog tracked Rios' scent to the bay area off Dorset Avenue in Ventnor Heights known as Ski Beach.

The investigation was assisted today by a NJ State Police dive team who searched the area on rafts and by foot.
