Local Car Accident Remains a Mystery

At least two people have died, and multiple people have been injured in a local car accident that took place yesterday morning.

A van was traveling on Route 55 Northbound in Franklin Township, when it went off the road and struck a tree.

According to NBC 40, 'Authorities said at least six people were inside the van when it went off the road. Three men are still in critical condition, another is stable. Trooper Jeff Flynn says the van's driver, whose name has not been released, and a 47-year-old passenger, Norma Santiago, were killed in the crash.'

The reasoning behind why the van went off the road is still under investigation.
