LBI Will Ask People to Evacuate before Sunday Night

The evacuation process along the Jersey continues to mount into what could be a mass exodus by Sunday night.  Add Long Beach Island to the list!

The Press of Atlantic City reports that LBI along with Middle Township are posting voluntary evacuations, and encouraging residents to take to higher ground.

These two areas join the barrier islands and Delaware Bay communities of Cape May County and the Brigantine Beach area as areas to evacuate - these to areas are mandatory to evacuate by some time on Sunday.  All the before the heart of Hurricane Sandy makes its arrival known in this "Frankenstorm".
