Mandatory Evacuation of Atlantic County Barrier Islands; Casinos Closing

A mandatory evacuation order is now in effect for all Atlantic County barrier islands as of 8AM Sunday morning.

This evacuation order covers residents and visitors. Also, people who live in flood prone areas of Atlantic County are urged  to seek shelter before the onset of the storm. The casinos in Atlantic City will be closing.

Access to the barrier islands will be restricted to emergency personnel only beginning at 10PM Sunday.
