Kathie Lee’s Embarassing Moment From Today [VIDEO]

This morning on the Today show may not have been the career highlight for Kathie Lee Gifford, as her interview with SNL alum Martin Short became awkward!

Gifford asked Short about his marriage to wife Nancy - seems like a totally harmless question except Martin's wife died nearly 2 years ago after a bout with cancer.

Gifford did not stop with one question in this exchange, and to Short's credit he handled it about as well as he could.  The video says it all!

Gifford did correct herself on air afterwards, admitting the goof-up, which Short informed her of following the interview.  Does this qualify for Tom Morgan's Stupid Citizen of the Week?
