New Jersey Snackers Rejoice, Holiday Favorites Set to Return

Can you believe the holidays are approaching?

There's so much to like about the holiday season.  People seem to be in a better mood, you get together with friends and family, and of course the food... it's like the grand finale of a fireworks show.  All the favorites come out during the holiday season.

Hostess, the maker of such American favorites like Ding Dongs, Donettes, and everyone's favorite, Twinkies, has announced the return of their holiday line of snacks.

If you're not hip to them, you can't imagine what you're missing.

Hostess will be bringing back their mint chocolate Twinkies, chocolate sponge cake filled with a special mint cream is just one option.

Making their annual return are the special holiday Snoballs.  These are fist-sized cakes that are shaped like a snowball.  It's a chocolate cake that has a soft coconut shell.  Other than Mounds, who else uses coconut?  These are the bomb.

They offer a holiday version of their Donettes.  I'm not exactly sure how they do it, but they've come up with a way to make their mini-donuts with a hot cocoa and marshmallow flavor.

Hostess even makes a special holiday version of their cupcakes.  During the holiday, the cake is yellow, the icing is white with special holiday decorations (ok, who doesn't eat the icing first?), and of course, it's filled with their signature white cream.

For those who are looking for non-traditional gift ideas, Hostess has announced they'll be offering a line of branded holiday "stuff" that will be available for purchase as well.
