Gloucester Township Schools on Lockout After Drug Deal Goes Bad [VIDEO]

Several Gloucester Township schools were been placed on lockout late this morning after police were called to a nearby neighborhood to investigate a drug deal gone bad.

Authorities were called to York Terrace in Gloucester Twp.around 11:30 a.m. today after reports of a possible home invasion involving drugs, according to 6abc.com.

Several people were reportedly taken into police custody.

Schools in the area were placed on lockout mode until approximately 1:00 p.m., and no one was allowed to enter the school as classes continued among the activity.  No word on which GT schools were involved in the lockout.

Police are still investigating.
