Full House Revival May Be in the Works
Is it POSSIBLE??!!! Yes it is!
According to Variety, there's been talks with 'Warner Bros. Television about bringing back the sitcom, and some of its original cast, for a revival nearly 20 years after the long-running ABC show had its finale.
John Stamos is heading up the idea, along with creator Jeff Franklin and producer Bob Boyett. Now before you laugh, remember Boy Meets World? That show was HUGE on TGIF. Guess what? There's a spinoff called 'Girl Meets World' and it includes original cast members Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel.
Granted, if there was actually a Full House spinoff, who would be in it? We'll go ahead and say that Mary-Kate and Ashley are definitely out, since they have moved on from their acting days. Bob Saget would be awesome, but if you watch his comedy skits lately, you can tell he's trying to get away from the 'Full House Sweet Dad' persona. Sure he was in the Full House Super Bowl commercial, but I think it was only to make fun of the show.
So now that leaves John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger. Stamos is heading the project, so I'm sure we'll see him at least a few times. Candace Cameron returned to TV by competiting on Dancing With The Stars. As far as everybody else, well, this would certainly revive their careers.
Only time will tell what happens next, but trust and believe that if this happens, I'll be watching.
