A Pennsauken pizza shop called Flying Crust has been closed since May after a bizarre accident involving a local school teacher and drunk driving.

On May 3rd, Kimberly Killion was reportedly intoxicated when she drove her SUV straight through the entrance of Flying Crust on Park Ave., injuring several workers.

Killion, also the daughter of former Pennsauken Mayor Jack Killion, still faces a grand jury on charges of driving while intoxicated in a school zone (oh, the irony seeing she's a teacher), assault by auto, and reckless driving.

Owners Garis Eddington and Elsie Concepcion were hesitant to rebuild after the restaurant sustained heavy damage from the accident, according to Courier Post, but the love and support from the community convinced gave them the strength.

There's no officially reopening date set yet, but it could be as early as the end of this month.
