Fire Damages Store in Historic Smithville Village

A fire damaged a tea shop in Historic Smithville Wednesday morning.

NJ.com reports the Though the Looking Glass shop, which is a two-story green building near the Smithville Railroad station, was damaged.

The store's Facebook page describes it as a, "whimsical tea bar and eclectic gift shop."

Pictures posted online show burn marks on most of the building's second floor.

The published report said Galloway police and fire officials were not available to comment on what may have started the blaze.
