--Clothes. It's no surprise that ties are a no-no.  And just like the cravat, most guys prefer to pick out their clothes on their own.

--Novelty Items. Leave the shot glasses, bobble heads and paperweights where you found them.

--Extremely Impractical Gifts. Forget thinking out of the box.  Dad's prefer not to receive a USB-powered George Foreman grill, superhero bathrobe, or a head massager.
