Electric Company Threatens to Turn Off the Lights at Atlantic City Casino

Another group of bright lights could be shut down.

Trump Taj Mahal could have their electric services shut down if they don't pay Atlantic City Electric the amount equal to two months of electricity services.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, 'Atlantic City Electric continues to provide power to the casino hotel as Trump Entertainment moves through the bankruptcy process. However, the utility is asking the bankruptcy court to lift that order and force Trump Entertainment to pay “an amount of assurance” equal to two months of its electric service. The amount sought by Atlantic City Electric was not specified in its court filing Monday.'

Are we getting down to not being able to pay the electric bill? Is it really that bad? We've heard of Trump Taj Mahal threatening to close it's doors on Nov 13th.  I can't imagine another dark spot in Atlantic City.  Let's hope some financial aid can come through, otherwise there will be a big part of the Boardwalk that will be quite empty and quiet.
