See Chelsea’s Skin Five Months After First Microneedling Treatment
Five Microneedling sessions down, one to go. Over the past few months I’ve been receiving Microneedling treatments with Dr. Lyle Back's office.
If you've ever had a sunburn, you understand how it feels the day after Microneedling. It doesn't hurt, but you are red and you can feel the texture of everything that touches your face. Every time I put the lotion on my face the day after, I could feel every single ridge of my fingers.
Just how red does your face get right after Microneedling? For me, very red. However, I am so pale that my skin gets red very quickly.
I went to Shake Shack looking like that. I would have loved to know what everyone at the restaurant thought of my face that day.
By the time I got home from session one, my face was very warm. So warm in fact, I was putting my face in the freezer. Was it a bit of an over dramatic response? Most likely. After my second session I felt like my face didn't react the same. I didn't get as red, I didn't stay as red as long, and it felt different. Then after session three, my face wasn’t very red at all. I have a naturally mildly red face to begin with. This photo was taken about an hour after session three:
I am done with five out of the six sessions, and I have already seen such a difference in my skin. Not that I had a lot of lines on the corners of my eyes, but that is the area I see the biggest difference. I have received so many compliments on the texture and tone of my skin. This is what my skin looks like after session five. I did not edit this photo besides brightening it a little bit.
