Bon Jovi Will Be Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
We're halfway there, Bon Jovi fans! More than half way, actually! Bon Jovi will officially be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
It was destiny fulfilled for Jon and the boys. It was reported earlier this month that Bon Jovi had won the Hall of Fame fan vote. That was likely a factor in the final decision.
Along with the New Jersey rockers, 2018 inductees include The Cars, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, and songwriter and Civil Rights activist Nina Simone. Radiohead, who made it onto the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time ever, did not get in.
The only thing fans, like myself, are wondering now, is will Richie Sambora show up to perform with Bon Jovi despite quitting the band some time ago? And, if so, will that reunion spawn a reconciliation in time for the band's next tour? Stay tuned!
The induction ceremony will be held at Cleveland's Public Hall on April 14th. An edited version of the ceremony and concert will air later on HBO.
To Jon, David, Richie, Tico, and yes, even Alec John Such, congratulations from your South Jersey friends at SoJO 104.9!
