Baseball Back In Atlantic City?

A Connecticut-based group have proposed bringing minor league baseball back to Sandcastle Stadium!   Well, sort of.  According to the Press of Atlantic City, former Atlantic City Surf general manager Mario Perrucci is looking to "sees the field hosting weekend exhibitions featuring independent baseball teams from the Atlantic League, as well as collegiate and amateur league tournaments for baseball and softball teams."

It seems that this Connecticut-based group made this proposal via Facebook, and no officials in Atlantic City didn't really know about it, much less who these people are. 

Even if baseball does return to A.C., is the facilities at Sandcastle Stadium ready for baseball again?  Are they up to date?

Lots of questions, and a lot of loose ends.  That being said, would you still want baseball back in Atlantic City?
