Authorities Investigate Homicide in Pleasantville

Police have confirmed that a homicide took place late last night.

According to NBC 40, Police responded to calls of multiple shots fired in the area of Woodland Avenue and Hendricks Street at about 10 p.m., and police tape was set up along Woodland between Hendricks and Fourth Street.

Authorities confirm one victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, their identity is unknown at this time.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating.'
