The first homicide reported in Atlantic City of 2014 is undoubtedly one of the worst...

 

A 13 year old teenager in Atlantic City was shot and killed in broad daylight.  He was a student at Pennsylvania Avenue School. Another teenager was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.

 

According to the Associated Press:

 

The shooting happened as students left the Pennsylvania Avenue School on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a 13-year-old student was shot in the chest and died following an argument. The other teen was wounded in the leg and is expected to survive.
No names have been released.
Police Chief Henry White tells The Press of Atlantic City (http://bit.ly/1d28Xjm ) investigators are looking at surveillance video to try to identify any suspects.
The killing was the second of the new year in Atlantic City. A man was found stabbed to death in a condominium on Pacific Avenue about an hour earlier on Wednesday.

 

No names have been released as of yet, and an investigation is ongoing
