A Human Skull Was Found in Cooper River During Earth Day Cleanup
An Earth Day cleanup in Cooper River took an interesting turn this weekend when one of the volunteers found a human skull.
Well, I bet they weren't expecting that!
6abc says volunteers for 'United by Blue' were cleaning up the river in Pennsauken, when one volunteer thought they saw a white milk jug floating in the river.
Which makes sense considering they were picking up trash out of the river.
But nope! Turns out, the white milk jug was actually a human skull! Crazy, right?
Camden County Prosecutor's Office confirms the remains were human, and have started an investigation. According to 6abc News, there are currently no further details.
Still, I could only imagine the look on their faces. Read more on 6abc.
