Seems like these students were trying to get more for their...'Boro Buck.' Get it? Well, nine students from Rowan University have been arrested for making unauthorized returns at a 7-11 after using their college debit cards.

According to Glassboro Police, the students made returns that added up to $35,000 at the 7-11 - which is a whole LOT of money. Rowan University alerted Glassboro Police a month ago when they noticed strange activity which led to the investigation.

Students are able to use these 'Boro Bucks' at more than 90 vendors in the area to make purchase things or services. But there are safeguards in place in case there is suspicious activity like this one.

The main (alleged) culprit is Kwadwo Brefo-Boateng of Lindenwold, who entered merchandise returns into the 7-11 card reader system on Rowan Boulevard, along with his friends. He's currently facing a bail of $7,500.
