Beaches are pure heaven for our four-legged friends. Honestly, have you ever seen a sad pup on the sand? Now with summer finally here, you may be thinking about WHERE you can bring your furry friend for a little sun & sand, so we found a list of pet friendly beaches right here in South Jersey!
My pup, Josie just can't get enough of the beach. She will run around like crazy and then pass out on the way home. Of course, my car is usually filled with sand afterwards but, it's worth it to seeing how happy a trip to the beach makes her.
Here's a list of six amazing dog friendly beaches in South Jersey, according to Fido.com.

Longport Dog Beach - Egg Harbor Township
Also know as Somers Point Dog Beach. You can have 'Fido' run off leash and have an awesome time! The beach is located at the base of the Ocean Drive Bridge on the Longport side across from the fishing pier.
Bring water and waste disposal items for clean up purposes.

Brigantine's North End Beach
You can take you dog to the the north end of the beach for a long walk all year long. You have a full run of the beach from October 1st through May 29th. You'll need to keep your dog on a 6 ft leash.

Stone Harbor Beach
Free parking and the beach is free on 122nd St. Hours are before 9 AM and after 7 PM. Dogs must be on a 6 ft leash. There's nothing like watching the sunset and watching your dog have the time of their life!

North Wildwood Dog Beach
There is a fenced in area on 24th avenue where you can take Fido for a run on the beach all year round

Wildwood Dog Beach
You can take your furry friend to the beach block wide area located off of Poplar Ave. Dogs must be leashed. Your pooch may go crazy over the 25-foot fire hydrant located right on the beach.

Ocean City
You'll need membership for this park on Ocean City. Located on 45th St and Haven Ave. You furever friend can romp around off the leash, exercise and interact with other dogs.
